Delete Your Plotline Account
Option 1: In the App
- Open Plotline and go to Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account.
- If you sign in with a password, enter it to confirm.
- Confirm the deletion.
Option 2: By Email
Email support@theplotline.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete My Account". We'll verify the request and delete your account within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
- Your profile
- Your ratings
- Your shelf and lists
- Clubs you own, including their content
- Your notifications
- Your sign-in sessions and push notification tokens
- Images you uploaded, such as profile photos and list and club images
What May Remain
- Comments you posted on titles stay visible, but they're shown as from a deleted user and are no longer linked to your account.
- Records we must keep for legal, fraud-prevention, or billing reasons. Purchase records held by Apple or Google are managed by them.
Data is deleted from our active systems promptly and from backups on their normal rotation. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings to stop future charges.
